Nitecore NU11 Rechargeable LED Head Torch & Clip Light
The Nitecore NU11 rechargeable head torch is a lightweight portable head torch which can be used traditionally or via the included clip, offering both white and red light outputs, plus a IR sensor function which is perfect for close range work.
The IR sensor allows for hands free use and the constant red and red flashing outputs preserves your night vision and is handy for wildlife observation and protecting against insects.
The head band included can be used for traditional use but the NU11 also offers a included clip which can be used on caps or attached to clothing. Additionally the head torch has a hinged bracket allowing the light to be tilted and adjusted up to 90°.
Two push buttons are located on top of the NU11, a power button and a sensor button. The power button turns the light on/off and changes the brightness level. To access the white light short press the power button. Each press of the power button within three seconds will then cycle through high, low, red constant, red flashing and off. If pressed after three seconds the torch will instead turn off.
To activate the IR sensor function press the sensor button while the torch is on. Simply wave your hand within 5 to 10 cm in front of the NU11 to turn the torch on or off.
Four battery indicators are built into the top of the torch and will display remaining battery power for two seconds when the torch is turned. on All four lights is approximately 100%-75%, three is approximately 75%-50%, two is approximately 50%-25% and one is approximately 25%-0% and the light should be charged as soon as possible.
The NU11 has an integrated 600 mAh lithium-ion battery that is charged via the USB-C charging port on the side of the torch. Reveal the port by lifting the dust cover and then simply plug the included USB-C cable into the charging port and the other end into a suitable USB power source. The charging indicators on the top will flash in turn before becoming solid once charging is complete after approximately 2 hours.
