Nitecore 21700 3.6 V, 4000 mAh Lithium-ion Protected Battery (NL2140)
The Nitecore NL2140 is a premium quality high capacity 21700, 4000 mAh lithium-ion battery specifically designed for high intensity torch use and is the perfect companion for the Nitecore New P12.
As with all Nitecore batteries safety is paramount and the NL2140 cell has a range of internal features to keep you, your devices and chargers as safe as possible. The 21700 battery has an innovative anode design with high temperature resistance, built-in PTC to inhibit high current surges, pressure relief valve which activates in the event of a rapid temperature increase and a microporous barrier that protects the delicate internal components. Externally, the cell is equipped with nickel-plated stainless steel protectors at both ends and is coated with a durable metallic film to guard against abrasion.
The 21700 is recommended to use with the following Nitecore chargers: UI1, UI2, UM2, UM4, UMS2 and UMS4.
Please note: This battery is larger than an 18650 battery and cannot be used in standard 18650 sized torches. To extend battery life it is recommended that it is charged every three months when unused for long periods.
