Sighthound Collar in bottle Green
The sighthound hand stitched collar design is based on a traditional “Fishtail” style template, however, we’ve extended the wider part of the collar to offer extra protection around your dogs neck. This has been particularly useful for our whippet when he decides to take flight after seeing a squirrel!
The collar is finished with a contrast stitch available in a selection of colours to compliment your leather colour. (If you want a specific thread colour not shown please let me know and we’ll try our best to accommodate you).
The classic sighthound range of collars is handmade in our workshop from the finest, 100% vegetable tanned, full-grain leather from Walpier, in a range of fantastic colours. The leather is resin backed to ensure the colours won’t run or stain your dogs neck no matter how wet they get. This is paired with equally premium, British made solid brass or nickel-plated brass roller buckle, rivets and D ring. The hardware is very sturdy for even the most wilful of dogs and is rustproof.
The leather collar will evolve over time with wear as the dog’s oils are absorbed creating a beautiful and unique patina, an ongoing record of your adventures in a way.
