Olight H05S New LED Sensor Head Torch
The Olight H05S New is a compact LED head torch that emits a maximum output of 200 lumens from the white LED, offering both switch and sensor operated control.
Powered by two AAA alkaline batteries, it has a maximum run-time of 20 hours on the low setting. The “+” sign glows in red inside the battery compartment indicating the direction of the polarity of the batteries, to ensure you get it right every time. When the battery level becomes low, the indicator will blink red twice every 10 seconds to remind you to change the battery.
Three white brightness settings, as well as red constant on and red blinking settings are available. Single clicks of the push button will cycle through high, mid, low, off and a quick double click with the light on will enter the red LED mode – changing from constant on to red flash and off with each press. The last mode used will be remembered, so if the light is turned off in red mode it will turn on again in red mode, two quick clicks will return to the white outputs.
The H05S New also features a motion sensor so that the head torch can be operated be waving your hand in front of the sensor between 5 – 20 cm distance away. Manual operation is always available, and wave operation can be turned on or off by holding down the button for more than one second while the torch is on, and the light will flash to indicate that it has changed. The wave function will be unavailable for 1 second after manual button use.
