Olight Baton 3 Pro Rechargeable LED Torch
The Olight Baton 3 Pro is an upgraded version of the popular S2R Baton II and still has the same compact design but now offers 1500 lumens output on the highest setting, before dropping down to 600 lumens after 12 minutes to prevent the LED from overheating, and is available in black, desert tan or OD green.
The included Olight 18650 3200 mAh tailored lithium-ion battery is specially designed and only this battery and the 3500 mAh equivalent can be charged within the torch. The battery is recharged inside the torch using the included MCC3 magnetic charging cable for faster charging than before. Simply connect the magnet to the base of the torch and plug the USB end into a suitable USB adaptor (5 V 2 A recommended for fastest charging).
The indicator light on the magnet will go red while charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete after approximately 3 hours, 30 minutes when charging the included battery if the power supply is sufficient enough to support the 2 A output, otherwise the cable will output at a lower rate or 1 A or 1.5 A depending on the power supply.
A battery level indicator built into the side switch that lets you know when the battery needs charging. A green light indicates above 60% power, an orange light indicates 10-60 % power, a red light indicates less than 5-10% power and a red blinking light means less than 5% power and that the torch needs to be charged.
Utilising a new design side switch, the Baton 3 Pro now features a larger button that is slightly concave to help protect against accidental activation. There is also a handy electronic lockout function to prevent the torch from being accidentally activated and is accessed with the light off by pressing and holding the button for 2 seconds to lock it and the same again will unlock it.
As before the Baton 3 Pro features five brightness levels and strobe, and the torch is turned on and off with a single press of the side mounted push button. Select the brightness level with the torch turned on by holding the switch to cycle through low, mid and high in turn, whilst the moonlight mode of 0.5 lumens can be accessed directly when the torch is off by pressing and holding down the switch. Turbo is accessed by a quick double press when the light it off or on.
Strobe is activated by three quick presses while the torch is on. The memory function will remember the last mode used for moonlight, low, mid, high and turbo. The Baton 3 Pro contains two timer settings; long timer (9 minutes) and short timer (3 minutes). Double click and hold the side switch while the light is on to enter this setting. One blink indicates the 3 minutes mode, and two blinks indicates the 9 minutes mode.
A dual purpose magnetic tail cap allows charging but also the ability to connect to magnetic surfaces so you can use it as a hands-free work light, and the Baton 3 Pro comes supplied with an L shape stand which is able to connect to a surface of your choice with the strong adhesive so that the torch can be magnetised to the stand in a convenient location. Also included is an innovative two way pocket clip makes it easy to carry the torch on clothing or a backpack.

Please note: *The above data is measured in lab conditions, therefore results may vary due to environmental and heat dissipation conditions. The active thermal management system will decrease the output in turbo and high to protect the LED from overheating.
