Nitecore 10 A High Discharge 18650 4000 mAh Lithium-ion Protected Battery (NL1840HP)
The Nitecore NL1840HP is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh and this model has a high continuous discharge current of 10 A.
A HDC battery is required with certain torches in order for the torch to draw enough power from the battery to access the highest brightness setting.
The NL1840HP has a range of safety features to ensure peace of mind when using and charging the battery. The internal safety features include a microporous barrier to protect internal components, pressure relief valve which activates in the event of rapid temperature increase and a built-in PTC inhibiting high current surges. Externally, the battery has nickel plated stainless steel protectors to ensure high impact resistance and oxidation resistance.
