Maglite MAG-TAC Police LED Torch
When Maglite were developing the MAG-TAC® LED torch they aimed to produce an advanced lighting tool that in appearance, build quality and performance, would rival tactical torches costing several times more.
The result is the first Mag® torch to use extreme-performance lithium CR123A batteries, a rugged, fast-handling hand torch that achieves truly stunning performance for its size, and thanks to a tail cap switch, it turns on and off without changing the beam’s focal setting.
Three functions are selectable using the tail cap “Quick-Click” mode selector as follows; momentary, full power and low power. The first press and hold will access the momentary function, and once the button is released the light will go out, which is useful for tactical applications or quick tasks. Two quick presses from off will access the full power mode and three quick presses from off will access the low power save mode.
Designed with extensive input from military tactical consultants, and yet suitable also for civilian use, this MAG-TAC® LED torch comes with a detachable pocket clip allows for easy carry in a pocket, belt or backpack and can be removed if it is not required.
