Fenix PD32R LED Torch
The Fenix PD32R is a compact and lightweight rechargeable LED torch that delivers 1400 lumens maximum output from the Luminus SFT40 LED and is perfect for everyday carry.
Offering four brightness levels plus strobe, the torch is operated using the tactical tail button. The light is turned on and off by fulling clicking the tail switch or momentary illumination can be achieved by half pressing the tail button while the light is off. With the light turned on half presses of the button will cycle through low, mid and high. The last used brightness level will be memorised for when the light is next turned on. Holding the button for 0.5 seconds in any state will access the strobe setting and one press of the button will revert back to the previous brightness level.
The PD32R is powered by the included 18650 lithium-ion battery and is easily recharged via the hidden USB-C charging port. Twist the neck of the torch to reveal the port and connect the included USB-C charging cable. Plug the other end into a suitable USB power source and charging will begin automatically. The battery indicator by the charging port will automatically display the battery status each time the torch is turned on.
If the battery voltage drops below the preset level, the PD32R is designed to downshift in brightness level until the low output is reached.
Alternatively you can use two CR123 lithium-metal batteries (not included), never attempt to charge lithium-metal batteries in the torch.
The intelligent over-heat protection will drop the high brightness level if the internal temperature reaches 60°C or above. When the temperature has reduced the light will automatically go back up to full brightness. This is to protect the LED from damage and prevent the surface temperature from becoming too high.

Note: *The turbo mode is measured at total run-time including any reduced output levels due to the temperature regulation design.
Tested in laboratory conditions to ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard using 1 x Fenix 3400 mAh 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable battery under the temperature of 21±3°C and humidity of 50% – 80%. Results may vary between torch, battery and environments.
